A bumper Feb for Brighton Pride

Those of you who were at the Valentine's Day Wild Fruit at the Zap will have noticed that it was a fundraising event for this year's Brighton Pride. During February, this and other events raised a whopping £2,350. The money will be split between local good causes and the fund for the Big Day on the 7th of August.

The prize for the deepest pockets in February goes to those who went to see Mother Goosed at the Pavilion Theatre... buckets at this event raised a total of £1,080. Hoorah!

Other events around the city included Big Hair and Big Food, where eaters and... er... hairdressees (?) were encouraged to add a bit to their bill in aid of Pride.
