Just off the coast of Africa there seems to be a bit of a gay gathering taking place... so REALPride set out to investigate obviously!
Taking what was undoubtedly one of the gayest flights we've ever been on (and we're not just talking about those EasyJet uniforms), we landed in Maspalomas and followed the crowds to the concrete jungle that is the Yumbo!
Drink? I never touch the stuff... Oh, okay then... just one... bottle bottle of vodka... before we leave the apartment...
As a Yumbo virgin all I had to go on was what I'd been told... and it was all basically true. It's not the prettiest of gay villages we've ever set foot in (and that's being polite), but there's certainly plenty to look at!
The night ended, as all good nights should end, by being covered in lipstick and dancing until we can't remember anything else...

Not the first time I've been to Gran Canaria, but it was my first Maspalomas Pride. The whole week lived up to - and exceeded my biggest expectations... Wall to wall men just topped off the fantastic party atmosphere! Oh, and The Vengaboys! Who could ask for more?! I would definately recommend it next year... I'm already choosing my parade outfit :o)
