Okay, so there aren't many photos here (there are only so many photos you can take around a pool without looking decidedly dodgy)... but it deserves its own little space on REALPride because the municipal pools are undoubtedly the hottest spot going when it comes to acres of flesh. To be more precise, the top pool in particular, which seems to turn into the unofficial opening party for Pride weekend.

To give them their full title, the Centro Deportivo Municipal Casa de Campo (!) can be found by jumping on the metro to Lago, and... well... joining the queue when you get out at the station. On a busy early evening it can take 40 minutes or so to get in there - but we're guessing it rarely gets as busy as this when there aren't quite as many gay men in urgent need of showing off the latest Aussiebums before they go out of fashion.

Entry fee, as of July 2009, was around €4.50, and worth every cent. Queues for drinks and food can be a bit annoying, so make sure you buy in bulk when you get to the front! A big pint (or was it a litre?) of sangria on ice was surprisingly refreshing, and the beer was ice cold. There's no point in trying to compete with the muscle on offer, so we discovered that the chips were also very good too!
