This year's National Student Pride event is being represented in print by six lovely lads and lasses who took to the beach on a chilly winter's day and did a good job of pretending it was the middle of summer. The sun may have been shining but it wasn't warm!
Brighton University student Matt Hunter braved even more severe temperature extremes when he agreed to take part in an additional shoot… in the snow… for this month's Gscene cover. Not only was he splattered with yet more emulsion paint, but he also stripped down in the middle of a snowy field during the coldest winter on record - and even threw a few snowballs at me.
Ironically, the cover shot was achieved in the first half hour of the shoot and was an indoors shot… but we thought we'd share a few more photos from the day so that his goosebumps weren't all in vain.
The search is on for the Face of Pride 2011… students from around the UK are welcome to enter the competition - with the finals being held at Revenge during Student Pride weekend this March. More info at www.realpride.com/faceofpride.
Grab your tickets for this year's event before they go (the evening is a guaranteed sell-out, but there are still tickets available at time of writing…) www.studentpride.co.uk.
