Oh, good grief. What a lot can happen in three short hours in an unassuming nightclub tucked away down on Brighton's seafront!

With free shots of Tuaca on arrival and the DJs in two rooms banging out the tunes, the night was off to a great start. But there was plenty more in store, of course.

The evening's hostess was, once again, the towering, talented Billie Lewis who sprung into action to bring on the first live band of the night - Erik Hassle who's latest album Pieces definitely needs to be downloaded immediately... we love! And bless Erik who was extremely gracious in having his set interrupted for a fly-by celebrity visit from Ronan Keating. We had to pinch ourselves as Ronan appeared stage right, came on in a whirlwind to wish everyone a happy pride, and was gone almost as soon as he'd arrived (but obviously not before we'd managed to snap him with an 'I love Student Pride' banner!).

After more boogying across across two dancefloors, the Chew Lips were next up - and dancing on the DJ decks seemed to be in order for singer Tigs! They rattled through a few choice numbers from their very highly regarded debut album Unicorn, released in January.

The evening, of course, didn't end at 1am… more photos and words in our 1am to 3am review!
