REALPride review
This year, for the first time - and in no small part due to the help from platinum sponsor Ernst & Young - the daytime event at Oceana was completely free, offering up an afternoon of live music, debate, stalls and even a movie premier to boot!
Although the event was obviously aimed at students, non-students were very welcome and despite the gorgeous weather out on the seafront there was a fantastic turnout...

Daytime Festival: 1pm - 2:15pm
As the final soundchecks gave way to the first performers, the main entrance was opened and students from across the UK tumbled through the doors, donned their lanyards and had a good rummage through their goody bags...
Daytime Festival: 2:15pm - 5pm
At 2:15pm it was time for the official opening of this year's event with the cutting of a big pink ribbon.
